Diane is originally from New York. She made her dancing debut at the age of 5 on a popular TV show called “Kids & Company”. Diane also appeared on “Startime”. Fred Astaire Dance Time, and was a weekly winner on “Ted Mack Amateur Hour” in those early years. Although accepted as a student at the High School of Performing Arts, NYC, she chose to remain in a good academic high school on Long Island. She studied dance at the Harkness Ballet and the June Taylor School of Dance, NYC. Diane became a professional dancer with the June Taylor Dancers. She was a featured Dancer in the International Co. of “Hello Dolly” starring Mary Martin, choreographed by Gower Champion as well as the National Co. Starring Betty Grable.

Diane had taught dancing periodically throughout her career at the Mario Renda School in NY, Rainbow Studio, and Studio One in Las Vegas, Nevada. She also ran her own school and group in Nevada called the Northwest Dancers. After moving to Vermont, Diane opened North Country School of Dance in September of 1989. The school has been open for over 25 successful years now. She is a dancer/choreographer of all forms of dance. Diane is a member of Dance Educators of America. Her dance students have won titanium, platinum, gold and silver trophies at the DEA dance competitions. She is also licensed by ASCAP, BMI, and SESAC.
Her dancers have won many awards, scholarships, 1st place in category, and specialty awards. Many of her students have gone on to excel in dance. She is known for her distinguished tap choreography, and her tap routines have been recognized for many awards including “Most Outstanding Choreography”.
