Cassie Johnstone

  • Pre-Dance and Elementary Dance in all styles.

Cassie Johnstone (née Tarbox) has been dancing with North Country School of Dance since she was three years old.  Growing up, Miss Cassie competed with our competition team regionally and nationally in Springfield, MA, New York City, NY, Boston, MA, and Las Vegas, NV.  She received a scholarship to attend a theatre workshop at the Las Vegas Nationals.  In 2012, when she was a sophomore she performed as Snow White in our production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves and in 2014, her senior year, she played the Genie in Aladdin.  She has been teaching at our studio for many years and says that while she may teach all dance styles, teaching hip-hop is her favorite.  Along with dance, she has been acting in our community for 14 years and has been working at the Vermont Family Theatre for 9.  Some of her VFT credits include Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins, Laurie in Oklahoma, Peter Pan in Peter Pan and Belle from Beauty and the Beast.  She is currently working on her Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics at Johnson State College.

Kaeleb Berthiaume

  • Pre-Dance and Elementary Dance

Kaeleb Berthiaume has been dancing with North Country School of Dance since he was in our Pre-Classes! He currently teaches Pre-Classes, Combo Classes, and various styles within Level 1, 2, & 3. In addition to teaching, he is an award-winning competitor at many of the Competitions attended throughout the year. Mr. Kaeleb is a beloved teacher by all!
